DFND’s specially sourced, proprietary and patented designed graduated compression was created to solve a problem. Too many U.S. Military members were suffering overuse and chronic injuries during training that kept them from reporting for duty and reducing our country’s military readiness.
Founders Jeff Herdman and Steve Burnett grew up in Southern California surrounded by Marines, soldiers, airmen, and sailors stationed at the many area military bases. When they heard about the injury rate issue in 2015, they decided to use their shared background in apparel product design to build a 100% Berry compliant graduated compression line.

All DFND products are Berrry Compliant, meeting the highest standards of the US Department of Defense and it’s guidelines to procure fabrics, clothing, yarns, fibers, and other made-up textiles.
All DFND products feature FUZE technology, a permanent, chemical-free technology that can be applied to any surface or textile to prevent and protect against odor causing bacteria and mold. Dedicated to sustainability, only a small amount of FUZE is applied during a light misting process, causing no harmful effects to you or the environment.
Their first line of compression wear was tested on special forces trainees under the harshest training conditions in the world. The apparel was so successful in reducing injuries and lost training time, it has become standard issue for thousands of Special Forces members.
